Even the best organized people have a few rushed mornings. It might be due to oversleeping, it might be due to an unexpected phone call; but we all have a few mornings when we have to get dressed in a hurry. On mornings like this, most people tend to go without makeup; preferring that overlooking messy. But what if we tell you that there’s a way to look good even on those horrible mornings? - Use a short cut. Things like nails, brows and liners take time to perfect; and that is what we don’t have in those mornings. Buy opting for options like eyebrow tattoos, eyeliner tattoos and gel nail polishes, you are making sure that this is not a problem for you, even on the other days. You can buy gel nail polish now-a-days due to the length of time they look good.
- Make use of what you have on already. Here, we mean the color of your nails, of course. Create an outfit that matches your existing nail color, so you don’t need to bother taking it oy. There are many braded polishes like OPI nail polish that look fresh even days.
- Keep the foundation simple. On the rushed mornings, skip the complicated routine and opt for a light foundation; one you can’t mess up. Use a beauty blender sponge to perfectly blend and create a sheer look. If using powder, use the brush in circular motions to buy it into the skin and look natural.
- Skip the contouring. Unless you are very fast, and well-practiced with it, of course. But if you’re feeling bare without it, opt for using a powder bronzer instead. Use a big fluey brush to sweep over the areas you’d normally contour. This creates an illusion of a contour, even for sheer makeup.
- Use neutral/earthy colors for the eyes. These colors rarely mess up, no matter how fast and sloppily you slap it on your eyelids. If you can’t do your liner in a rush, opt instead to line only the water line; which is easier to line. This too makes your eyes look dressy, in very less time.
- Go nude with the lips; in case you can’t line them like you would normally. But if you don’t do this routinely, opt for a naturally pinkish color that won’t attract a lot of attention. This comes in handy if you do a messy job of your lip coloring.
- A little blush goes a long way. Using a blush might feel unnecessary on your rushed mornings, but it goes a long way to make you makeup look completed. This way, even your minimum hurried-mornings look won’t appear to be rushed.
- Practice the look. It’s important that you know what colors to use without having to think about it. By practicing this look a few times, you’ll be confident to do it fast even when pressed for time. Don’t forget to practice a simple hair style for those mornings as well.
